When Melina M. Givens isn’t writing her latest novel or daydreaming about her other works in progress, she is probably found drinking a far too sweet coffee in a café. Melina is writing her books part-time while studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing at Louisiana State University.

She has loved writing for as long as she can remember. At five years old, she would sit at the computer in her mom’s dentist office, creating any story she could think of after teaching herself to type. Anything creative has always sparked her interest, from nails and crochet to sculpting and drawing; she has tried it all.
